I had the pleasure of attending TEJANI Jewelry’s new flagship store grand opening on New York’s Upper East Side yesterday. The store, which has an intimate gallery feel, is filled with stunning, intricate bridal and one-of-a-kind fashion jewelry made by artisans in Mumbai, India.
Every piece inside the store is designed by owner Urvi Tejani, a fashion industry veteran and wedding jewelry expert. The TEJANI collection features a range of earrings, necklaces, bracelets, brooches, hairpieces, and handbags. The front section of the store features TEJANI’s exclusive non-bridal collection. Representing the beauty and craft of the local Indian artisans she works with, every item is this line is unique. The collection features bold, statement pieces in eye-catching hues of jade, fuchsia, ruby, and sapphire.
The back section of the store features the TEJANI bridal collection—the heart of the TEJANI brand. In its ninth year, the TEJANI bridal collection incorporates Austrian crystals, organic man-made pearls, and a selection of custom finishes to complement any bride. To make sure you look perfect for your big day—or just any day, TEJANI offers the option to book a personal in-store appointment with one of its expert jewelry stylists.
The TEJANI flagship store is located at 1458 Third Avenue (between 82nd and 83rd Streets) and is open Monday-Friday 11am – 8pm; Saturday 10am – 7pm ; and Sunday 12pm – 6pm.
