I’ve always had a love for fashion, especially Indian design and craftsmanship but never imagined that I would be involved with it in any way. When I first launched Couture Rani in the summer of 2011, it was with a desire to showcase the incredible design talent from the Indian sub-continent, which at the time had very few avenues to reach a global audience.

But what I loved most was telling the stories of the artisans and designers whose products we featured on the site and sharing the passion and craftsmanship behind the design. As we move into the next phase of Couture Rani, I hope to be able to do more of that. To those of you who have been with us since the beginning and to our new readers, I hope you’ll continue on this journey with us.
